I finished knitting my very first pair of socks and I am in love. I love, love, love them! Cute and comfy and warm. If you have never knitted a pair of socks before I highly recommend it. And the pattern is well written and easy to follow.

Is it October already!!?? Crazy. Absolutely crazy how quickly time flies. I have been so busy with school and church and work that I've had barely any time for my quilt. And now that the weather has turned our nights and mornings have gotten a little chilly I could use a nice warm quilt to curl up with. I've got to carve out some craft time! I stopped by Michael's today to pick something up for a school project I'm working on and I couldn't help but pick up some Christmas clear stamps. I just love all the seasonal craft items out right now. I need more time!
I am so glad it is the weekend. What a busy week. Meetings, working, class, cub scouts, Back to School night and more meetings. This weekend is also going to be packed and busy, but at least it will be with fun stuff.
The studio is almost done. But in the process of re-organizing I have realized I have a lot of half finished and never started projects that have piled up over the years. Not good. I will have to remedy that.
